In March of 2000, the OSU/NCBI Affiliate began as an initiative of the Office of Student Life. Forty students, staff, faculty, and community volunteers were trained at that time. With a corps of leaders from across the university community, our campus affiliate continues to build a strong campus team working to end mistreatment and prejudice at Ohio State.
Working together, we spread the NCBI, International philosophy of "promoting a climate that is free of discriminating language and actions, encouraging open and honest communication, improving self-awareness and using this knowledge to understand differences, and celebrating differences." We aim to build a welcoming campus by empowering people to take individual action. |
